The 2^nd Annual 5K Walk & Run to raise awareness about colorectal cancer will be held Saturday, March 20^th at Meece Middle School.  Registration begins at 7:30am and the walk/run begins at 8:30am.  Pre-registration is $20 by Wednesday, March 10^th and $25 on race day.  There will be race categories for all ages, and for males and females.  

The master Musicians Festival Thursday Night Live for March will feature No Tale Lights and Lost On Monday on Thursday, March 11^th at 7pm at the Carnegie Community Arts Center.  Admission is $5 at the door. The Carnegie is at 107 North Main Street in Somerset in the former public library building.  

St. Mildred Catholic Church will have weekly fish fries each Friday in March during Lent.  The fish fries will be from 6 to 7pm at the O’Bryan Center next to the church on South Central Avenue.  Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for kids ages 4 to 12 and free for children 3 and under.  Desserts will be available from the Altar Society for $1 each. All are welcome.  

ROCK Somerset will present Shanna Purcell, Faubush Hill, Velveeta Jones and Andy & The Rockers in concert to celebrate March as Women’s History Month on Friday, March 12^th.  Doors open at 7pm at Cruiser’s and the music will begin at 7:30.  Admission is $10 per person and all ages are welcome.       

Somerset Christian School will host a fundraiser on Friday, March 12^th to start a Christian school in Ethiopia in the name of the Ethiopian exchange student who passed away in Somerset last year.  Live Fish and Warehouse Radio will be in concert and there will be games, food, inflatables and activities.  Admission is $5 per person and all are welcome.  For information, call 561-3511.
