WKU hosts Louisiana-Lafayette in a pivotal Sun Belt Conference football game Tuesday night at 7:00 PM (CT), and WKU Athletics has announced gameday plans for the midweek contest.
Due to the fact that the university is open for business on Tuesday, gameday tailgating will begin at 4:00 PM. All tailgating areas will function the same as a regular Saturday gameday, and all normal rules and regulations will be enforced.
In addition to the over 4,500 free paved parking spaces on campus, Alumni Square Garage, located on Alumni Avenue near the brand new Augenstein Alumni Center, will be used for public parking on Tuesday evening for $5.00 per vehicle. Shuttle service from the garage to the stadium will be provided every 10 minutes beginning two hours before the game until approximately one hour after the game concludes.
Fans who have a reserved tailgating location and are coming to Tuesday's game are encouraged to park in that tailgating location, even if they are not planning on tailgating.
Avenue of Champions will close at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, and College Heights Boulevard between Colonnade Drive and University Boulevard will close at 5:30 PM. Parking permit holders will be allowed to access these roads for parking purposes.
The TopperWalk will take place in its normal location at approximately 5:00.
